Has your child had an eye examination?
As parents we want our children to enjoy their growing years as they develop physically,
emotionally and socially. To ensure that our children are able to perform at their best
while learning and playing, it is important that they maintain good vision. Did you know
that 1 in 10 Australian children suffer from a long term eye disorder? So as parents it is
important to be able to recognise signs of a vision problem.
One eye turns in or out while the other points straight ahead
Red or watery eyes

The Optometrists Association Australia recommends that children
have a full eye examination with an optometrist before starting school
